The 17th Berlin Open Access Conference was held in Berlin, Germany from February 5-6, 2025, bringing together over 150 delegates from research institutions, funding organizations, and libraries across more than 40 countries and regions worldwide. Jin Jianbin, Director of Tsinghua University Library, participated in the OA2020 Summit of Chief Negotiators on February 4 as part of the Chinese delegation. During the strategic discussions, he emphasized the principles and priorities for advancing Open Access, effectively presenting the perspectives of Chinese scholars and the library sector. Deputy Director Dou Tianfang, presented a poster at the conference highlighting Tsinghua University’s Open Science Support Initiative and its implementation progress. Dou Tianfang also engaged in in-depth exchanges with delegates from the United States, France, Finland, India, Colombia, and other countries, fostering international dialogue and academic exchange.
