法国一直是著名数学家辈出之地，数学科研实力位于世界前列。法国数学会（Société Mathématique de France，SMF）从1873年开始出版数学方面的文章，至今SMF共出版如下6种期刊，这6种期刊上的论文经过严格的专家评审，有很高的学术质量。
